I woke up with so much fullness in my heart and to the sounds of birds chirruping and sun beaming into my room. I knew today my few days (or it seemed like forever) of bliss will begin to transform. As I woke up finished my sadhana and grabbed the book 'bitten by a black serpent' gifted by Cody the previous night to the terrace and sat in the Buddha Bench(it has buddha right along side you on the bench sitting with you and one adcacent to the bench. So I name it the Budha Bench). Justa page into the book and it was like samadhi. WOw! Thanks os much Cody!
And as I walked back into the living room, what do I see - A talking Avacado Plant. And what do u think the plant said, "Rekha, take me home. I belong to you" - Ava. Now I knew that was Tim! We had stuck on a exchange deal about trading a curry leaf plant for an avacado plant. And Tim left quite early in the day maybe 7 AM and yet before he left he had this left behind for me. My throat choked with gratitude. Iit was beautiful! With a beaming smile my day grew into something so beautiful!
My and Holly again resumed our ride into the town to the Bead Store of course. This time I got a complete tour of Modesto and then we stopped at a store of 25 years (I think) closing down and said Hi to Nancy. (hoping I gor her name right). My brief acquantance with Nancy and her daughter Nancy was through their picture with Gurudev in Hollys store. What a blessing to see her and be in her radiating presence! Nancy is winding her nutritional store for greater and simpler joys of life like reading a book, having nothing to do! Aha!
And then we stopped to grab a sandwich at a little weird place with funny energy!
We got to store and of course, Stephanie was waiting for us! And my playful day began as I picked up my word for the day which said, "play". Woo! Hoo! So I started to make a necklace wit Stephanies help.. After over an hour or more - it was time to pick another word for the day to move on but then what do i pick "Play". Holly and Stephanie were on a roll with the word "Love". So many folks came into the store and everyone wants to come for the next Art of Living Course in Modesto! What can I say! Magic continues at the bead store...
We were showered with a random act of kindness during lunch. That was a beautiful surprise! Many friends, old timers stopped by!
And then Stephanie and me resumed our journey home. Ram was waiting home to pick me up. It was wonderful to see him. The evening began with Tim and his famos band - The senor circus. It was pure fun , entertaining and innocent! I am sure everyone at the concert over the weekend is going to be dancing and taken on a journey through love, friendship and joy!
And then it was time to say goodbye to everyone..
With a full heart me nd Ram resumd our journey home with wonderful memories and waiting to meet my dearest friends again...
Longing keeps the Love alive ...
