stress is catching up fast.. part 2

Our breath is our most treasured gifts from the universe! Your breath leaves you, you are dead!
No Breath, No Life.
Know Breath, Know Life.

Every emotion has a specific rhythm in the breath! Have you noticed this ever?
How do you breathe when you are angry? Fast, spurts of breath..
How do you breathe when you are in fear? Actually we hardly breathe.. it almost stop.
How do u breathe when you are tired? Imagine coming back from a hard day of work and crashing on the sofa at home. 'Haaaaah' - exhalation automatically becomes long...
How do u breathe when you happy joyful? Imagine cool breeze atthe ocean, the breeze.. our eyes automatically close and our breath both inhalation and exhalation become long...
Have you observed this natural rhythm in the breath? If not it is high time you started observing this...

But the sad thing is we have only used it is a one-way street where as it works both works. You can use your breath to unwind your mind, throw out the stress, calm your emotions, and experience deep states of calmness and relaxation.

My knowledge and exposure to the age-old science of breath came through the experience of Sudarshan Kriya taught in the Art of Living Part 1 Program. Su (proper or right) Darshan (vision) Kriya (action). So the sanskrit word literally means that purifying action that gives you a vision or glimpse of who you are. And who are we? Have we experienced or known it lately amidst all this stress! We are pure joy, we are pure happiness, we are pure love and yet, every moment of our life doesnt reflect this! Why? Becasue we have not learnt how to throw away stress from our system!

Do you see that most beautiful serene face of a baby?
Have you seen a kid dancing away without any inhibition?
Have you seen a child laughing gleefully - snorting in between?
How much joy it brings? But youhave been that child sometime back. What happened? Where did that innocence disappear?

It is all there - beneath the thick coating of stress - it is all there! You need to take away the stress and experience it.

My experience with Sudarshan Kriya has been exactly that! It truly gave me an experience of such a peace state of my existence, I experienced so much love in myheart and so light in my presence! It was like a huge weight has been lifted off me. I practise sudarshan kriya and meditation everyday and every moment of my life has been wonderful. It is not like stress doesnt come in. Of course, stress is ther but then Ihave daily mind-servicing, cleaning and washing in place! Just like howe need to have a shower every day, brush our teeth everyday, wash our car atleast once a month, get it serviced atleast once in 6 months, charge our cell phone everyday - WE NEED TO SERVICE OUR MIND EVERYDAY IN THESE TIMES!

Otherwise, it is not easy to deal with this world and its pressures! I cannot imagine how someone can survive without meditation and breathing even for a day.

And the most interesting thing of this all is that - people wait till stress brings to them all kinds of diseases, ailments - people would rather spend thousands on all kinds of weird medicines go through the traumatic sideeffects but not give practises like Sudarshan Kriya a shot.

FOundations such as Art of Living, IAHV have been teaching these programs for over 25 years in over 140 countries benefitting over 40 million people worldwide, yet our mind would rather gpo through stress than get rid of it! Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, the founder of AOL and IAHV has cognized these techniques just for people of this age to aptly get rid of stress from their system, experience the true-meaning in life, enjoy every moment of being here on this planet, experience that you are part of this universe and everyone around you is a part of you!

There is not just Art of Living, there are so many organizations teaching meditation practises, breathing practises so that you can get rid of your stress more holistically without any sideeffects!

What are we waiting for?
I can only wonder...
How many more shootings are we waiting to happen to do something about our stress?
How many more new diseases do we need to experience and experiment with before changing our patterns and ways of living?

Come learn the Art of Living life today...
Invest in your mind and in your breath...
It will take you a long way...
